I've used "UsedCalgary" on a number of occasions and had mixed results.

One couple bought a sectional couch off me that I was honestly considering taking to the dump. The asking price was $100 and they offered $80 and when i said no problem they were acting like I just donated a kidney to them.

I put a BBQ give-away in there once and had a bunch of people call, say they were coming over and then never showed. Annoying as hell.

For smaller items that I can fit in the car or van, I usually meet them somewhere. We sold some concert tickets on there and some Flames ones too and every time I just meet the people somewhere public (train station, mall entrance, etc..)
