Travel as light as possible, at the end of your trip go to a local market, buy a large bag and stuff as many hammocks in it as possible.
If you're going to spend any prolonged time in the forest and have a half decent camera then I'd recommend buying a sailing tub and silica salts to store your camera/binoculars in. The humidity will lead to mould growth and kill them. Something like this.
