I don't know why people didn't use the internal do-not-call lists. Maybe they were like me and didn't know they existed?

I support Foster Parents Plan. However, they would call me every 6 to 8 weeks asking if I could possibly give more. The first few times I tried to explain that I really didn't have a lot of spare cash and giving what I was was already a strain on my pocketbook. Yet the calls just kept on coming. Then I was told charities had the same do-not-call lists that businesses had... stopped the calls instantaneously.
