I don't have much of an opinion on PETA, but I do like milk so I will respond to this. Other species do not build spaceships to the moon either. I am sure if animals had the technology and opposable thumbs they would drink other species' milk. In fact, so long as I do all the grunt work of buying and pouring, my cat will quite happily drink cow's milk. I would imagine there are lots of tiny symbiotes in mammals that feed on milk as well.
Is milk not that good for me? Well it is rich in vitamins A, D, and calcium I believe but Pepsi isn't good for me either and I still enjoy drinking it. I like drinking milk, especially with cereal, cookies, etc. I don't really care if it makes biological sense or not. In fact, I am not really sure what biological sense means.
