I love when people who know very little about a topic spread misinformation about it.
1. The head of PETA doesn't have diabetes.
2. PETA endorses any nonviolence in spreading their message. So they don't believe the ends justify the means. This campaign in itself makes biological sense. Other species do not consume other species milk, why do we? In fact milk isn't really that good for you after you grow up... Are you shocked?
3. You guys all say how PETA turns off so many people with their message, but you fail to realize how many people they turn on. Are they likely to get a 28+ yr old to convert? No. That's not their target. They target teenagers and college kids who are impressionable and open to radical ideas.
4. In the FATA thread that was closed someone said they cook the books. No way in hell they do this as the IRS has investigated them numerous times with no evidence of guilt coming up.
I'm no longer a member of PETA because of some disagreements about how they do things, but I just don't like when people start spouting off info as facts about the organization when they know nothing of it.
