Look for 70-100 point shoot outs (combined score) this season.

The Chiefs D, despite the lack of a decent pass rush, played very well. Cutler had all day, but when it counted the Broncos had to settle for FG's (you got one hell of a kicker by the way). The offense still sucks, despite LJ's big day, I still think that pretty much any team could put up big numbers against that Denver Defense. Great to get the win though. That young team needed an emotional boost. They still will only win 4-5 games this season.
Add the Chargers to the list of teams like the Vermeil era Chiefs...they can score, but without Shawn Merriman their defence is a bit suspect too.

Nice to finally see the Chiefs win a game. I still dislike their play calling and the offence in general. But the team did play hard yesterday and was able to make a few plays on defence. Damon Huard is a below average QB, but the team does seem to at least show some signs of life when he's playing and looks like they can move the ball once in awhile. Something they just can't do with any of the other guys they have. IMO the Chiefs are going to have to find a way to get better at that position if they want to have a prayer. Cutler is the real deal, and Rivers might be a punk that everyone hates....but he's no slouch as a player either. So when you have two teams in your own Division who look to have two of the leagues better QB's for the foreseeable future...you better get on board too.
