I am thinking of getting this for a variety of reasons:

Burning dvds obviously
Tivo transfer
Mutli-DVD burns (To back up 20 gb of pics for example)
Backing up my movies

Has anyone used it? Do you recommend it?

Is it worth the $100?

Are there alternatives out there that you would recommend? Thanks.

(And thanks Traditional Ale and other Mac haters, I know I can do it all for less on a pc. I don't want a pc. I have a mac. Thanks.)
