Actually I just went through this headache yesterday. The only way I could figure out how to store music from my computer on my xbox was you have to burn an "audio Cd". If you just burn MP3's to a cd the xbox wont read it.
By the way if it helps anyone, I found a page on IGN, someone made a file of songs to put in the game. On the link below scroll down to the 12th posting there is a link, you can select then to download in winrar or winzip.
