Well, I would consider this place a hidden gem.

It's a bit of a ride from W. Hollywood though...and 16 years ago it wasn't the greatest neighborhood, but that may have changed with the new stadium and associated development. My Dad eats there quite a bit as he works close by at the Conoco refinery in Carson (That's where I worked when I lived in LA).

You could also visit the original Wienerschnitzel in Wilmington!

Again, a far piece from Hollywood, but if you're looking to experience something that is truly LA this is another way to go. Great location right on PCH.
