It's gory but done in a sort of comedic way. I mean, Sweeney Kills his customers and Mrs Lovett bakes them into meat pies.
I loved the play when I first saw it on Broadway and Tim Burton definitely did a great job putting his stamp on the story. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Tim Burton.
