Come on Vader wasn't the real bad guy in Star Wars. If your looking for one of the great villians look no further then Palpatine/Sidious.
- Starts a civil war and runs both sides
- takes two apprentices and betrays them
- Through manipulation seizes power in a totally undemocratic fashion and everyone applauds him for it
- commits genocide in a mass fashion by blowing up a planet
- forces a guy to beat the crap out of his own son
- tries to force the son to kill the father
- can charge car batteries with his fingers
