In theory it'd be nice to have a reference like that, but in practice it's almost impossible to keep straight, to moderate to keep the discussions in the right place would be a lot of work, and splitting discussions into new subforums can end up with less topical discussion rather than more.. usually we don't split until it's so necessary that the forum is clearly overcrowded.
One thing I am looking at though is the newer version of the forum software allows for tagging of threads with key words, so finding threads about specific players if they are tagged properly will be much easier.
