I actually find that the Chiefs do similar stuff with Brodie Croyle when he's not injured. It's like they try to shelter him and not let him throw the ball down the field so he won't throw interceptions or take hits. Yet he still gets nailed since the Chiefs line is bad. Fact is of all their QB's he's got the best arm by a mile, and is better suited to throwing the ball down the field than all the short stuff. Yet when Croyle goes out...they let Huard throw the ball down field and what does he do....throw a pick!
I have to wonder what the NFL play callers really do think sometimes.
