I'm in a similar situation. I have a wedding reception the night of the season opener. I think I'll be shot if I go through with my proposed idea of rather than wearing a suit & tie, I wear my Flames jersey with suit jacket.

I'm debating between heading to the hotel bar every now and again then watching the end of the game, or simply putting it on the DVR and watching Sunday morning
