Well he did an average job when he was with Minnesota back in 04/05 (IIRC).
As long as he can manage the game......we will be okay. I've said that for a year now, as long as we have a QB who can just not turnover the ball, we should be good.
Now granted the two losses are not all Jackson's fault....receivers dropping passes(Shiancoe anyone?), playcalling (run-run-pass?)...but in the last game he was missing open receiver by a fair bit.
The move is complete desperation on Childress's part, and if both of our stating receivers are out (Berrian with turf toe and Rice with knee injury), it will be interesting to see if Gus struggles this week.
