Another game I liked to play on a snooker table was golf.
Each player had a cue ball and an object ball. Your cue ball colour would match up with your object ball colour. IIRC that would make your cue ball, say the three and your object ball the 11. The object was to play each pocket in order and start counting strokes after the first player sunk his ball. Penalty strokes for missing your object ball or sinking in wrong pocket or scratching or knocking over a skittle [usually placed on the pink, blue and brown spots] or not touching a rail, were three strokes which added up and could cost a lot of money for the unwary.
Nasty and expensive and addictive little game with lots of purposeful hooking and testing each players skill with plays off the rail when snookered.
