Sure his numbers are bad...but I put almost none of that on his peformance, but almost all of it on what he has to work with...as sainters7 points out. He is a good NFL QB as shown by his past, but when there is precious little to throw too, no one will succeed. Same thing with Favre 3 years ago and why everyone was clamoring for him to quit. Clearly he was still among the best in the game when he had people to throw to just a year later and even more so last year. On top of that he had a patchwork O line "protecting" him. Hasselback has time but again...no one to throw at.
Minnesota is a very good example the other way...they have players, but Jackson isnt at the NFL level yet, either decision wise or execution wise, and it shows in the play calling by Childress and company. Put a Manning or Favre or even someone like Jon Kitna on that club and they are a force.
