I think David Carr would agree with you. Carr likely had his career ruined because the Texans O-line was so pathetic that they gave him absolutely no time. When you are trying to transition from the speed of college to NFL (which I'm told is infinitely faster) and you are getting sacked 8 times a game, it's hard to develop. Sure he has been criticized for holding on too long but he never really had a chance behind that line.
