I have this messed up eye disease in my left eye and starting to develop in my right. Its called kerataconus. Basically, my cornea, which is supposed to be sphereical, is turning into a cone which in turn results in blurred vision. Anyways, apparently only 1 out of 2000 get it and to correct it, you can wear glasses if its spotted early enough, wear hard lenses or have a corneal transplant. Since I dont want a knife opening up my eye and am too far into the condition for glasses, I have to wear these contact lenses.

I know these lenses were the norm a decade ago, but as a disposable lens user for the last 4 years, the transition period between the lenses has been painful to say the least. Every 2 minutes, its buggin me. If I dont think about em, I dont notice it, but its hard not to think about a hard piece of plastic on your eyeball. My favorite is when I dropped the lens on the counter and it made a sound. I found that hilarious. Anyways, the last day or two, they have gotten better, Im starting to get used to it, but I just wanted to vent. Anyone else here been thru what I am going thru?? Im sure there is.....lets hear some stories.

"The correct title is Anyone Wear HarD contacts" Man, I should hit preview post first!!
