Well, I really wanted to pick an authentic documentary, but there's a non-fiction that's just too good for me to pass up.
In the documentary / non-fiction, 6 Degrees of Troy McClure select Dog Day Afternoon. Jeez, I think that's about the fifth 70s film I've picked so far, but I love this one.
