It was passed as a regulation. Much less debate and legislative tap dancing required in order to get that baby through. We don't have to worry about this monumental issue taking up a lot of our elected leaders' time.
It's a nice addition to consumer protection legislation in Alberta meant to bring our province in line with measures taken by others such as Ontario.
