One thing non-tippers need to realize is that sometimes at bars, servers/bartenders have to "tip out" on their sales.
You buy a round of shots and drinks for, say, $50. Leaving no tip, would put out the bartender somewhere between $1.50-$2.50.
So not only are their salaries crap - your tip may also have to carry to the door-guys, the busboys, etc.
