Hi guys. I've been reading this thread with interest as I am upgrading my A/V stuff soon too. I think you made an excellent choice Mayer. In fact on the Electronichouse site OBCT linked to earlier (with the HDMI extender), they named the Onkyo TX-SR606 one of the Cool Components of 2008!
