I will just add to Tron's post. I am single and 28, and yes be aware of women with kids. I couldnt believe when this girl I met and chatted with for a while and then yada yada, and then a couple weeks later after more yadaing I find out she has a kid. Again, women need to simply be straight with a guy up front. Why would someone do that, and then try to guilt trip you. That is a huge commitment for a guy, and quite frankly it takes someone who is a better person than I to commit to someone else's child.

Good post, I agree that playing the field is the worst approach. Cheating on someone is the coldest s*it you can do to anyone. If you can cheat on someone you supposidly love, then you probably don't love anyone except yourself. I also get sick of the bait and switch things chicks with kids do. Just be up front about it.
