Sooooo true. It gets pretty annoying when you are getting several different "How are u?" text messages every day from girls that refuse to give up even though you have been ignoring them for some time.
I got really lucky in that at the same time I came out of my relationship I had a few friends come out of fairly long relationships at the same time. It got quite ridiculous for a little while when we were all fresh out.

As to the OP, you're doing it right. Take time to consider what you're getting into. There is nothing worse than settling into a relationship only to discover 5 years down the road it's not at all what you wanted. I've seen too many people settle and then hate their lives.
The biggest thing I'm having a hard time with is finding someone I click with. Contrary to popular belief, I don't want a 'bad guy', but I also don't want a 'good guy' either. There's a happy medium of regular guys out there I'm sure. All I need to find is one that can put up with me and has no issues giving it right back...
