Ok, so my laptop battery is pooched, and with it gonna cost 300 bucks to replace just the battery I am considering one of these Minis. They don't have an optical drive, a feature I am sure I can live with, but I would like ot have some more RAM. The best I can figure since they don't have an option to upgrade RAM at time of purchase that it only has the slot for one DIMM. Can anyone else confirm my logic here?

Also I was thinking I would like to get an extra battery, since I am pretty brutal on them at school. However I can't find them for sale on the Dell site. Anyone know of any 3rd party vendors that might have one or is it pretty much not going to be available on such a new product?
