Looking out my deck window this morning, thinking of all the places I'd rather be got me to thinking, where is the one place I would truly rather be? Lots of people have "that place".....someplace they've been and it touched them somehow, left an impression, stayed in their memory, however you want to describe it. I discovered mine pretty much two years ago to the day on a holiday road-trip up through the Yukon and Alaska. Tombstone Mountain Territorial Park in the Yukon. "Since my last post the trip has just gotten better. The sights have been amazing, topped by the absolute jaw-dropping view from the Tombstone Mountain viewpoint towards the southern end of the Dempster Highway. You could travel around the world and never see something as incredible as the amphitheatre of sights and sounds provided by nature that we saw the other night."
