Ya, I disagree. At 18 I liked to think I knew about things I was getting myself into, but you know, I didn't. At 18 I doubt he had much of a clue exactly what was going on around Germany etc.
By the way, the entrance into the Hitler Youth was never shoot a jew in the back of the head, so that has nothing to do with this conversation. Stick to what actually happend, not some made up "what if" scenario. [/b][/quote]
The whole Hitler Youth doctrine was based on racism, so the scenario I came up with isn't completely made up.
Many Germans knew what something was going on with the Jew. Germany had a history of strong anti-semitism, most people just didn't care so much.
