Holy. Dude was convicted of sexual assault, robbery and uttering threats and served his entire sentence. He was refused parole. That doesn't happen often.
Michael Andrew Scott, 35, finished his 121/2-year sentence in federal prison Wednesday. He was serving time for three counts of sexual assault, two counts of robbery and two counts of uttering threats to cause death or harm.
Scott served his entire sentence because the National Parole Board refused to grant him parole.
"The board is satisfied that, if released, you are likely to commit an offence causing the death of or serious harm to another person before the expiration of the sentence you are now serving," the parole board said in its decision from Scott's detention review hearing on July 16, 2007.
