She was at a different store when the theft occurred. What's Future Shop supposed to do? Install security cameras throughout the city?
I didn't say the store had a responsibility, but if they know their customers are getting robbed after making big purchases, they might want to mention it to them.

And yeah, they should install security cameras throughout the city. Thousands of them. It's Future Shop, after all, so they can probably get a good deal.

Or if they are not willing to do that, maybe they should keep an eye out for people who are"watching the store", since they already know they are out there.
