Yes, it is true, I am stepping down as the Coyotes GM. First off I'd like to thank everyone in and around the league for some really great times.
I have started a new job and do not have the chance to be online as much as I'd like/need to be. I also don't have my laptop at home so being online at night is very unlikely (sitting with Daddy in the basement on the PC doesn't fly well with my almost 2 year old son). I'd also like to apologize for the lack of "live" time on MSN, there have been more than a few messages where I was logged in but wasn't physically sitting in front of the PC, therefore I didn't get to respond, sorry.
As a 2 time winner of best poster, I feel like crap when I'm lacking in posts. If I can't put the time in I feel is necessary to make decent posts I don't feel I deserve to be a GM.
I haven't even been able to put the time into even getting my roster up to snuff for the pre-season. There are some issues the new GM must address and for that I apologize to the league and that person in advance. I've hopefully put a decent Goalie-defense tandem together but the forwards need work.
So yeah, I think it's best if I step aside and allow someone the opportunity to run the team like it deserves. It was mentioned that there are a few good GMs in the wings so I hope what I've started to build gets the chance to shine.
