A little late to the party and it's probably already been said, but here goes:
Actually know just how you're feeling. Chased a girl for way too long back in the good old days. Despite our best efforts nothing ever got off the ground due to the fact that I don't think she was ever actually into me. Anyways, long story short, the parade of losers that she did hit off with over the next few years was devastating to the old ego. One after another I found myself saying "so I'm less desirable then that?"
Took me a while to turn the corner, but once I did it was sweet. Realized that really it wasn't me that the issue was with, it was that I simply wasn't damaged enough for her to find attractive. I spent way too much time trying to figure out what was wrong with me and never looked at the most obvious answer: her taste is hilariously brutal.
Might not apply to your situation exactly, but I urge you to consider that there's nothing inherently wrong with you at all. Chemistry ... it's an unkind master at times.
