I was inspired to start this thread after reading through the "beer thread".
As CP has a vast array of members, I thought it would be a good place to settle a discussion among my group of friends, and see what you guys think.
Scenario:
A few of my friends have
started drinking light beer, much to the chagrin of a few of us. Basically we make fun of them for stocking their camping coolers with Bud Light, or ordering it at bars/restaurants. I should mention the demographic. Hetero males, mid to upper twenty year olds. Post secondary educated, some are married.
In general, I believe the following situations are the only times light beer consumption is allowed. (feel free to add)
a) When you're 50+ yrs old
b) When its free
c) Breakfast beer
d) If its a Corona, Sol, etc.
e) If you openly admit you're an ultra-######, drive a Miata, wear Crocs and Lulu Lemon, have a popped collar, and frost your tips.
What do you think? (I'd start a poll but I think only mods can?)
a) Its perfectly ok to buy and drink light beer
b) It's for pansies. Man up and drink a 5%. Light beers = coolers.
c) Screw 5%, go for the malt liquor. Colt45 style.
Anyone else on the anti light beer train, or bug their buddies about it?
