Axemen add 7 recruits to hockey club

Forward Chris Bruton, captain of the Memorial Cup winning Spokane Chiefs last season, heads the list of seven recruits to the Atlantic University Sport Acadia Axemen for the upcoming hockey season.

Bruton, 20, had 26 goals and 63 points with the Chiefs. He played four years in Spokane, finishing his junior career with 258 games played, 14th all-time in Chiefs' franchise history. Last season, he was a plus 33, tied for fifth in the Western League.
