I was involved in Taekwondo years ago (both ITF and WTF), and I am well versed on the scoring system. The judges simply can't see what is going on from where they are sitting. At any given time, a well timed kick would be obstructed from view, and since you need 3 judges to agree that it is a score, it's obvious this is going to be a disaster.

In Taekwondo a hit needs to be a "focussed blow" to score, right? So you'd have it count as a "focussed blow" unless proven otherwise? Otherwise the refs would just override the electronic system now instead of not scoring the point, but there wouldn't be any more points awarded.
