I highly doubt the mother was in any mental capacity to object to her breakdown being shown on TV. She just lost her son and the grief associated with this would be all in compassing.
Rival Calgary CTV did not show a similar clip of the distraught mother. At least they showed some class by allowing the mother to have her privacy.
