I wonder how much diving you have ever watched before this Olympics. I wonder how you consider 8.5's on a dive to be poor execution. In fact, if you do any sort of research on diving, you would know that anything above 8.5 is considered a VERY good dive. And considering that the judges were not giving out many tens, she couldn't have done much better. Other divers performed better than she did. There was no choking about it. Every diver going into the finals had a chance at a medal. Not all of them choked. 10 points out of 3rd place is NOTHING in diving. She was close, but not close enough. It wasn't a perfect performance, but it wasn't bad or anything near a choke. Do you consider the wrestler who lost in the Bronze medal match a choker? She was damn close to a medal but lost.
