Ok, I need some advice.

By Sept 7th, I will have been to 5 weddings in 6 weeks. These are ranging from good friends to acquantences that I haven't seen for quite a while.

1 was on the BC coast (good old buddy, don't talk much anymore)
1 was in Kelowna (gave gift)
1 is in Halifax (next weekend)

1 is in London, ON (2 hr car ride + hotel)
1 was just outside of Toronto. (I came late, and just had a few drinks)

Now, I am broke just TRAVELLING to these events - let alone the gifts I have to get for the couples.

Any advice? What is recommended spend amount?

If it wasn't for the open bar and seeing old friends I would be MISERABLE right now.
