Excellent article by Gwynne Dyer, and pretty much says how Georgia is not innocent in this whole mess, and how in six months time, this little skirmish will be long forgotten. I tend to agree. The only difference between this firefight and ones before it is that now it's getting major media attention.

I'd be willing to bet that a cease-fire is in place in a few days; this conflict cannot and will not last.
