I don't know, my buddy used to smoke close to that much weed. Not for a long period of time, but there was definitly a good year or so that he was able to keep that up.
Here's the thing, you and I don't know what 4x4's buddy does for a living, but you keep bringing up the money thing for some reason. There are a lot of people in this world that have enough money to throw $3000 off a bridge every week without blinking an eye, so if you're going to keep arguing with him about the money, then you might as well just leave the thread, because that isn't going to go anywhere.
So that just leaves the weed consumption. You believe that's an eggageration, while 4x4, Shanwski, myself, and others believe it is within reach if the person is addicted enough and if they have the funds to do so.
So if you honestly believe 4x4 said that to "be cool" then you should read some of his posts, and you'd find he's not on here to "be cool", but just to shoot the s*it like most of us.
