Here you go: I'll put it in alcohol terms... Do you think that there are people out there that can consume a whole bottle over the course of a day? There are. We call them "alcoholics". 26 shots. One bottle of booze. People do it. A quarter of weed? Let's see... Haven't burned the blunts in awhile, but IIRC, an eighth would roll around 7-10 joints. A quarter would be double that. We're talking 14-20 joints per day for the "guy I know" (truth is, he's a good friend and I feel bad for referring to him as a loser in my last post)
Go ahead and not believe it, but don't tell me I'm exaggerating. I only exaggerate when I lose a good trout.

I said you're exaggerating.
I've smoked a lot of dope in my time, and seen different levels of smokers from all walks of life. From touring musicians, to burnouts on Deadman's Island to bikers.
Telling me you know a guy who smokes seven grams a day, daily, is a load of crap.
Turning that around and trying to tell me it's possible isn't the same thing. I'm sure there are island people who smoke crappy forest grown shrub like it's tobacco.
In Canada, to be going through that much dope daily (for one person) is crazy.
The person either has so much time he's unemployed (which further shows how it's not feasible) or he makes his living selling drugs (which unless he's in charge of a MASSIVE plant growing operation, also isn't feasible).
I realize you felt cool to throw out a "Pfffft I know a guy who smokes that much"
but I'll say it again. If you're even a casual user, you know how much a quarter ounce is, and how ridiculous it would be to go though that much pot for one person
on a daily basis.
