As for Ford's bad experience with TSM, I actually workd for those jokers once, and while I have nothing good to say about the company, it really does come down to the actual guys doing the move and not the company.
A little respect goes a loooooong way. If you're cool, they'll go the extra mile and do their best to keep your stuff from getting damaged. Dangle a carrot for them and ask them if the boss will allow them to have a beer when the job is done.
