Honestly though, I'd be happy if the Jays draw a line in the sand and pick a side - buyers or sellers. Every year they're in the exact same situation and every year they do absolutely nothing. And predictably they finish exactly where they were at the trade deadline. Even though I think it's stupid for them to be buyers it's a hell of a lot better than standing pat after so many years of doing so.

Even if they shipped out players and got some young AAA talent in return it would at least do something for them down the road. I just don't get why they never move one way or the other at this time of the year.
To me it seems like management trying to keep heat off themselves for making bad moves. With the Jays, at this point almost any move would be a good one....who knows maybe seeing a teammate shipped off would wake some of these guys up a bit.
