White, black, yellow, brown, red, indigo, taupe... doesn't affect - one way or the other - the gravitas of what happened on that bus. I totally agree in most cases. If there are different races involved in a crime, everyone jumps to that conclusion for no reason.
In this case, I brought it up as there is really no apparent motive, and that just seems more likely to me than a completely random killing. Just my opinion though, maybe it is more likely it's random.
