[Crispy's Critter]

I have problems watching videos on certain sites, like cbc and nhl.com, as well as flames tv on the flames site. Basically I can only watch about 2 seconds of video before it buffers for 5-10 seconds. This happens with every video on these sites, and so it makes them unwatchable. So I am wondering if there is a setting on my end somewhere (increase allocated memory, or prioritizing videos, something like that) that I can adjust to help stop the constant buffering?
Sites like youtube, funnyordie, google video I don't have this prob, which makes me think it's more on the sites end, but still wondering if there is something I can do. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
