Actually, the previews were a lot more exciting than the movie.
It was awful - there wasn't enough there even for a 1-hour episode. Lame story, which really had nothing to do with X-Files. Kind of like a cross between CSI and that idiotic NBC show where the woman has visions... Plus inanane irrelevant crap about Skully and the Skully/Mulder relationship. Worse than the series finale in terms of let-down and disappointment.
