Wow ! That is unbelievable. A judge actually told you that your witnesses weren't credible without even hearing what they had to say. I'd say you had grounds for an appeal. I can see a judge advising that he may place less weight on their testimony, but to come out and say they are not credible without hearing their evidence is just wrong IMO. Had I been your lawyer I would have definitely suggested that the court should be assessing the credibility of witnesses after hearing them, not before. I think you got a bad judge on that one. Did you have a lawyer or was it small claims court?
