I had someone back into me about 3 weeks ago in a mall parking lot, and the only reason I knew was because someone ELSE had a left a note saying, "Just so you know, someone backed into your rear bumper."

I didn't really see any damage other than paint being rubbed off, but it made me wonder what the point was of leaving a note if you don't leave your phone number, or at the very least the licence plate number of the guy who did the hit & run...
