You'd probably pay less driving a newer Saab not too many people own those.

The Top Ten Stolen Vehicles are:
1. 2000 Honda Civic SiR 2-door
2. 1999 Honda Civic SiR 2-door
3. 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX/WRX STi 4-door AWD
4. 1999 Acura Integra 2-door
5. 1994 Honda Civic Si 2-door Hatchback
6. 1998 Acura Integra 2-door
7. 1993 Dodge Shadow Convertible
8. 1996 Honda Civic Si 2-door Hatchback
9. 2000 Audi TT Quattro 2-door Coupe
10. 1996 Chev/GMC Blazer/Jimmy S Series 2-door 4WD

Once again, none of the vehicles making the top ten most frequently stolen vehicles list had an Insurance Bureau of Canada-approved immobilizer system.

Wow! are your theft stats from 10 years ago? Maybe a 1998 Honda Civic is the most stolen car in the world but not the newer ones. You are right about everyone owning one though. It's the number one selling car in Canada for the past 11 years and is now the top selling vehicle in Canada this year.

I only pay $745/year fully insured for my 2006 Civic hybrid.

There is reason you don't see any saabs on the road. hehe

Not sure about other insurance companies now but I really like that Meloche covers the insurance on your rental vehicles also.
