I have the same problem. What do I do? After a night of insomnia, I try to be especially active the next time to make sure I sleep. I stop any caffeine after noon. I try not to worry when I can't sleep. Just makes the time you have to pass worse. I go and rest on the couch as sometimes it's good to get out of the negative atmosphere of your bedroom. Rubbing one out never helped me, makes me more energetic. Writing whatever's on your mind is also calming. Sometimes I take a couple shots of whatever's lying around. Sometimes if I have something to do in the morning, I tell myself if I don't get enough sleep I'll reschedule or cancel, that relaxes me.
